CP is planning to run the Empress down to Mexico next year to celebrate the completion of the Kansas City Southern merger. She'd be mothballed for a number of years so there has been a lot of work completed on her and they are diong some test runs. Today she was run from Calgary to Edmonton, and will be heading back to Calgary tomorrow morning. Here they are backing the train into the yard to tie it down for the night and I figured I'd take the opportunity to capture the Edmonton Skyline in the background.
